The park warden, if you can elevate a bonified security guard to such a position, couldn’t believe that Keith had found what he had found. Far less so when he found out how he found it.
“You shouldn’t have been swimming in the lake,” were the first stern words out of his narrow minded, petty mind.
The Moon family responded with muttered insults and half spoken threats.
“Do you know what it is?” Asked Keith, oblivious to the contempt match being fought on either side if him. “Is it worth anything?” Why Keith wanted to know if it was worth anything perplexed the rest of his family. He very rarely spent money and when he did it was money saved from his birthday and Christmas.
